Open mSupply

Open mSupply is a flexible LMIS/ERP system for global health supply chains in LMICs. It runs on Windows, Mac, Web, and Android with multi-user support. It integrates core eLMIS functions while also offering specialized modules, including cold chain monitoring, equipment inventory, and patient dispensing and data collection modules (HIV, Immunisation, Family Planning, and more), as well as warehouse management capabilities. It is vertically integrated, so dashboards show real time information for all sites: warehouses, hospitals, and health centres.

Primary users:

mSupply is primarily used by healthcare professionals and warehouse staff who manage health commodity inventories. Healthcare workers such as pharmacists and immunization staff rely on the system to ensure they have the necessary supplies for patient care, while central-level management benefits from enhanced data visibility (mSupply Dashboard) to make informed decisions about procurement and distribution.

Reach of technology:

mSupply is the leading LMIS for low- and middle-income countries (LMICs), deployed in over 40 countries and serving hundreds of millions thanks to strong support, local partnerships, and our expert team. The mSupply Foundation, with 53 staff across seven countries and over 20 years of experience not only develops software but also provides training, deployment, and consultancy services. We ensure every implementation includes in-country training to build local capacity, with national teams often leading ongoing deployments and support.
